Headline shows this year sees an intimate solo performance from David Kitt, theatre from Fishamble: The New Play Company who present The Humours of Bandon and comedy from Eric Lalor, Patrick McDonnell, Patser Murray and Lorcan Mc Grane. There will be poetry and writing workshops from Colm Keegan and Una Mannion, theatre, art exhibitions, a smartphone photography workshop, children’s workshops, Open Mic, Festival Miscellany, family fun and much more.
Our wish as a festival is to create opportunities to celebrate, share and participate in the artistic development of our community. We want to celebrate all that is unique, innovative and special about our town, thus creating opportunities for our citizens of all ages, cultures and backgrounds to bring the arts into their everyday lives. By providing a diverse programme of events in multiple venues we hope we can inspire, challenge, educate and entertain at the same time. The festival happens because of the generosity and dedication of the committee, volunteers and all the local businesses who support it each year and for that we thank you all.
